Now is the time for the A10 Warthogs. Russias air defence is minimal. Their troops are inexperienced and getting more densely gathered. Some warthogs would decimate these troops and drop their morale through the floor.

Someone quoted Galloway and a pedophile in the same post ......

    Someone smoking crack again

Okay, watched the first video that doesn’t include Galloway. Such utter horseshît.

The ONLY takeaway from that Lord Haw Haw level drivel is proof of freedom of speech in the West.

Not only can you be defenestrated for telling the truth in the Russia, you’d definitely be fooked out a window if you spouted such BS… I’d say Putin himself would turn up at your apartment to walk you to the window.

    Stupid stuff.

But, you must be relieved to hear Russia has already won. So, you can stand down with the BS.

First time I’ve listened to Ritter… ‘We Bono’ - idiot of the highest level.

No. The actual Scot… but, Ritter is some piece off work too. Should be an instant banning for linking to this creep.

He’s a more ardent lickarse than Tucker. An individual of dubious credibility and ill-repute. That whole weapons inspection truther malarkey…he was an architect of those lies and embellishments from the off.

    Of relevance to his “credibility:”

On April 6, 2022, Ritter was suspended from Twitter for violating its rule on "harassment and abuse" after he posted a tweet falsely claiming that the National Police of Ukraine are responsible for the Bucha massacre and calling U.S. President Joe Biden a "war criminal" for "seeking to shift blame for the Bucha murders" to Russia. The following day Newsweek reported his Twitter account had been reinstated. Ritter writes various NATO-critical articles for the Russian channel RT (formerly Russia Today). In July 2022, Ritter was added to a list of pro-Russia propagandists compiled by the Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation.

    Some other illuminating bits:

Ritter was the subject in two law enforcement sting operations in 2001. He was charged in June 2001 with trying to set up a meeting with an undercover police officer posing as a 16-year-old girl. Ritter was arrested again in November 2009 over communications with a police decoy he met on an Internet chat site. Police said that he exposed himself, via a web camera, after the officer repeatedly identified himself as a 15-year-old girl. In October 2011, he received a sentence of 1½ to 5½ years in prison. He was sent to Laurel Highlands state prison in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in March 2012 and paroled in September 2014.

I think Run Forest Run should respond to this post and if not should be banned for trolling.

Scott Ritter? 🤣 Holy... I know he's loved by the Love Mother Russia crowd eager to hear from "one of their own"(others would be Galloway, The Duran eejits and Lancaster) but glossing over the pimping for underaged girls, he's a total arse hat selling said arse for whatever roubles he can get. Nasty piece of work too:

    Fe70_WNakAIKmjv.png

    Then there was this beauty:

    Fe71HETaAAAUSHG.png

As for his "insights" and "predictions"?

This was his insight about Iraq:

    ritt.jpeg

Right before the US marched right into Baghdad taking it over and in double quick time.

    Fe71AsSaUAAGjn3.png

Russia has increased NATO expansion, increased European resistance to Mother Russia, and demonstrated Russia's military prowess to be incredibly lacking. Never mind isolated Mother Russia from the majority of world markets, investment and politics for a generation.

Scott Ritter, oh man, there's scraping the bottom of the barrel and digging right through it.

Well, anyone who can carry off lie after lie after lie and believe themselves when they speak, must surely qualify for a disorder of the mind. In no way can anyone in sound mind carry on like Putin. He has gone beyond egomaniacal to severely delusional.

Vladimir Putin said Moscow was "doing everything right" in its nearly eight-month invasion of Ukraine according to the above link. How nuts is that considering he has got everything wrong and blundered endlessly? Russia is doomed for another 50 years with the way he is carrying on.

    Dan.

Oh and aonther near sure fire way to spot those who hoover up Pro putin propaganda is the use of the word "hegemony". Their heroes use this word a lot, their fans usually have to look up its meaning, or still don't know what it means.

Yeah this guy is great. I watch his breakdowns every night. They're just the right length given that they're usually fairly dense in terms of strategy.

That account along with Perun and Vlad Vexler have been my favourite Youtube finds during this war.

Just reading through the thread and got to someone, unironically making a Scott Ritter reference. Was gonna fire up a response but I think other posters have more than covered it!

In other news....seems like a major offensive in Kherson has kicked off this morning. Hopefully we'll see some major advances there.

There was another pro Russian American at before the start of the war saying how insane it was people thinking Russia was thinking of invading Iran. He was quiet articulate, but obviously completely wrong. The only other thing I can remember about him was his being suspected of sex crimes. These are the useful ‘idiots’ Russia gets to shill for them.

So this week Russia clamped down on their own bloggers for accurately reporting what was happening on the front-lines (as opposed to just parroting whatever nonsense the MoD issues). That might mean that the fog of war has just gotten a lot denser. In the past the likes of Rybar were used in order to figure out movements in the front-lines but they may no longer be as reliable. We may have to literally wait for videos and photos of Ukrainians liberating settlements.

A deal will be done, when Russia has been driven out of Ukrainian territory as defined pre 2014. Whatever scope there was for ceding territory has long gone off the table, blown to bits by the Russian regime. Things gone too far.

And no doubt she is one of thousands.

Ukraine's offensive has gone a bit quiet this last week, as far as we know.

Thats a good thing, because they are supplying and consolidating the positions they took with 'thunder runs' over the last month. Russian proxies in Kherson seem to be panicking, trying to get people out, but with little help coming from Mother Russia.

Sounds like Kherson could be liberated with relative ease over the next week or 10 days. Ukraine very cleverly getting into good positions before the winter sets in hard, but will now have all of the occupied territory in range of rocket artillery, while having much improved air defences themselves.

Reports abound too that Russia are running out of mid to long range Cruise and Ballistic missiles (down to about 30% inventory strength). Those are the only remaining projection weapons they have, short of low-yield nuclear missiles, to cause strategic damage in unoccupied Ukraine.

I would say its a good strategy for Ukraine and NATO to let Russia suffer a long and panicked winter and see where the internal politics end up.

I know you're allergic to Twitter but this is a the Ukrainian Minister of Defence's account so reflects official government messaging.

Perhaps he has issued this message via an alternative means of communication that you would be happy with, such as nailing it to the door of Kyiv Cathedral or via an interpretive dance - I haven't checked.

Steadfast noon starts on Monday, and there has been no heavy lifters into Fairford the last 2 weeks... only the usual U-2 movements... so more than likely only a divert field for the exercise.. (that's not to say something could pop in during the week)

Fairford isn't one of the usual designated USAFE nuclear sites, expect lots from Lakenheath, Kleine Brugal, Buchal, Volkal and the other W3 vault locations...and B-52's (and possible B-2's) doing global power missions from the US

I'm so sick of this guy. Not even sure if he's being facetious here or what:

At this rate I hope someone can just buy this off of him so that someone more stable can be in control of it.

Musk is quite severely autistic. He doesn't do irony.

But then he doesn't do nuance either.

That said, I do know a few people on the autism spectrum and none of them are twats so.....

Am not sure that there's other larger (I think?) + older companies that have a stronger hold on the US space or defence budgets (and who have been outperformed by SpaceX recently as regards contracts for NASA) is important.

I think Musk wants SpaceX to obtain that kind of "Boeing-like" position + a guaranteed eternal funding stream.

Starlink's usefulness to Ukraine here may help. According to media reports, he was sending private requests to US Defence dept. for more money over a month ago, well before any twitter storms.

Now he's doing his thing (IMO) where he tries to use public tweets and his high profile/popularity against what he believes are biddable/weak democratic governments (vs likes of dictator of China, who he doesn't say boo to!) to obtain what he wants (see past examples of how he's tackled regulators or officials in US and Germany when they've gone against his companies, or angered him).

I kind of think that is what is happening with recent positive remarks about a Putin-favourable "peace" + hinted threats to turn off Starlink in Ukraine if more money is not forthcoming. Don't think it was wise to use these tactics in this case though...may blow up in his face (if that's not a bad metaphor to use).
