Anyone ever been to a Lidl Warehouse sale? What are they like?

Are they organised or just utter chaos?

There is one on this weekend at the Warehouse in Newbridge. Some great deals but what's the chance of getting what you want to get?

Quite organised, but any specials advertised will likely be gone early. It's all the middle aisle stuff that didn't shift fast that hangs around.

Kitted out a lot of my basic kitchen stuff and tools from the Mullingar one when buying my house many years ago, but it was very random as to what they had.

Stuff is, or used to be, stickered with a coloured sticker to show the price rather than individually priced.

You could find nothing you want or fill a car, depending on what you're expecting.

I was down there earlier, plenty of stock and not too busy, but then it was a schoolday. They've had a lot of warehouse sales around the country over the last few months so demand might not be a high as previous ones. If there's anything you really want though, try to get down earlier rather than later.

I guess this is the leaflet - did you see any of these there left? The one time I went there was nothing left from the leaflet - just random unlisted stuff. But i was a bit late.

I've picked up kids toys, like kitchens , train sets etc

They're handy to have for kids birthdays/Christmas etc.

Got a kitchen recently for €25, it's usually €45.

The supply of tvs seem endless , they seem to be there to draw people in, personally I'd never buy a tv from a supermarket, have had bad experiences, the models seem to be made under licence, and aren't repairable.

I'd have no hesitation buying a TV from Lidl, their returns policy is second to none, take in item and receipt and they give you a full refund, no quibbling

Went to my local one last month. Was meh, a bit shite. I even heard fellow shoppers saying to eachother "this is a bit shite isn't it".

Best deal I saw was probably those Dolce Gusto coffee machines for about 25 or 30 yoyo. Other than that it was a load of rubbish that nobody needs. Telescopes and stuff.
