Not sure how you can play City and allow that sort of goal almost immediately. That's literally the City blueprint - overlap, byline, cut the ball across.

Did Varane really need to just lay there completely prone for a minute while they were under huge pressure? And had he not wasted so much time doing it, he'd have been allowed stay on the pitch to play on, and maybe they don't concede.

Trotting around totally fine now a minute later. Reminds me a bit of when De Gea did similar a few seasons ago, and conceded as a result.

Haaland is just something completely different from anything we've seen before.

The extent of his body control is unbelievable, added to incredible pace and power and striking instincts. Pretty much the perfect centre forward.
