Whatever about Trents scheduled comedy defending Danny Welbeck has had some bloody surprising renaissance to his career!

Very surprised to see Newcastle 3-0 up at ht but then i notice Fulham down to 10 since the 6th minute.

3 goals in 5 minutes in Southampton.

Bobby dies it again at Anfield, Diaz making an immediate improvement!

Very good comeback by Liverpool from 2-0 down. Need to see it out now.

Fair play ShamoBuc - you're updating when others' streams seem to be down the last while.

Further update, Wellbeck seems like a completely different player!

    Trossard Hattrick.

Brighton full value for their point. Probably deserved more.

Not a good performance by Liverpool why they sold Mane was a joke, probably the best player at the club for the past 5 years, starting to think the prem win was an outlier.

This Liverpool team look done. Before the international break we heard alot of chat about injuries and tiredness been the reason for the septic showings. Injured players back today and a good break for some of them due to the Queen and international break but its business as usual. VVD looks completely burned out, Henderson is crocked, Thiago is a crock, TAA being shown up for how poor defensively he is, Salah is MIA and Firmino who many wanted gone 2 seasons ago being relied upon despite spending £85m on a striker in the summer. Massive investment needed but will FSG sanction heavy spending after spending alot in the last 12 months with little recouped.

    Klopps subs are just mental

Right side is so fragile with Trent currently and Klopps brings Elliott who just makes things even worse defensively

    Its bizarre stuff

Can anyone remember the says when, Klopp would bring on a 3rd CB to see out a win, Would have been perfect todsy or even bring Gomez directly on for Trent

What about the other 2 years where they got nearly 100 points? You can't just dismiss those seasons because of an oil-state outspending them.

I get it though, Liverpool are muck at the moment. Enjoy it of course but you can't call 19/20 an outlier when it was in the middle of a run of 3 superb seasons.

Was an excellent game for us neutrals to be fair. I love watching this version of Liverpool, guaranteed goals because they can't play any other way and the defense is not up to it anymore.

jesus that yellow card decision against thiago silva is absolutely disgusting, let alone var backing it up.

No Ronaldo again today. Still only one league start this season. That must be hurting him.

Rumours of no Rodri either which will hamper Man City and give Mna Utd a boost on the break.

A brilliant player at his best, but let's be honest, he'd had a very rough past 2 years that were only relieved when he was shifted central for the last few months. Now, he was excellent in those few months after AFCON, but this season it looks like his form from the 18 months previous has returned in Munich. (Also it was primarily his decision to leave).

And (as pointed out already) there were 3 seasons of 90+ points (and 3 champions league finals) so obviously the prem wasn't an outlier as a good season, it was just the year that particular 90+ total was enough to beat an otherwise imperious City.

I see City cannot even sell out there own sides of there home stadium for the Manchester derby yet they have the biggest revenue in world football.

Whats the story with Casemiro not getting games at Utd?

City not having a tactical fouler in midfield could hurt them today.

Interesting City lineup - Probably 4th and 5th choice CBs, and a very attacking team in font of them. is it self-assurance, or over-confidence? ETH has been getting good performances out of Utd under these circumstances, letting the other team have the ball and hitting on the counter - from the looks of City's team, they'll have plenty of opportunity to do that.

Looks like Pep has gone with his quickest CBs. I'd say he's worried about the pace of the counter-attacks.

    Grealish could be key now.

    Huge early yellow potentially.

just when Rodri gets injured, so does Phillips. Another holding player needed?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,367 ✭✭✭doc_17

That was a lovely goal. Utd won’t come out and try and play just yet…..

Goal resulted from Sancho coughing up possession cheaply. United can't keep hold of it at all.
