Yeah, it will 100% for sure. I have two Hoymiles 2x panel ones and when one is shaded (every day for me) the other is pumping out it's max for the time. Great little micro-inverters.

Kellihers Electrical stock Bpe 4 port microinverters too. I have three installed on my 10 panels. One of the microinverters has 2 panels facing SE and 2 panels facing NW. It works very well indeed. They cost about 230 including vat each.

That's not on Kelleher's website though and there's no price displayed? €230 incl. VAT seems a very good price from an Irish shop with stock, that's why I went to have a look at it, but couldn't find it.

Rexel is Kellihers. You would need to contact a Kellihers branch for a price. I paid 230 about 4 weeks ago.

I have a Hypontech 5kW inverter for sale (second hand ran for 7 months, works great) at a good discount.

Reason for sale: Swapped for a hybrid inverter.

Will be sad to see it go as it's much sleeker looking than the deye hybrid that's replacing it.

I have the Deye SUN-5K-SG01/03LP1-EU (LV battery). I paid 1217.70 (in July) to Failte Solar. Recently bought another for a client at the same price in September.

That's a decent price. I just picked up a 5kw Sunsynk Ecco for 1250 plus vat. It's a tidy little thing.

I presume Rexel / Kelliher's? I presume you did not get any trade or other discount?

Did you check if they would sell any of the more powerful versions of that inverter?

I suppose it depends on where it's located. If it's in the attic then it doesn't matter at all but some would be in utility rooms or an office etc.

That's my experience too, one guy has the knowledge the rest can only give you a price if the product has a code.

If you don't get anywhere on Monday ask for the contact details of the Rexel rep. I have his email address if that's any good but my experience with the likes of this is to call.

Deye Approved Battery list(DY-LV48-0006)(2).pdf

Trying to find out what batteries the Deyes will take and they sent me this.

Dyness B51100 is not there but the B4850 is so I don't see why it can't do both.

Also asked Deye in the email like 50 times if it derates itself after 15 mins like the Solis and drops the charge/discharge rate and this is the answer:

the battery power of 8kw inverter shall not exceed 8kw

Haven't been able to decipher that Engrish so far 🤣
