Can I go straight to security if I have no baggage that has to be checked?

Hi everyone,
Apologies for my ignorance, I haven't traveled since 2006, and I am slightly anxious but what I would like to know is, if I checked in and have a printed boarding pass and will not be checking in any luggage at all (I am only visiting a friend for a day) can I go straight to security in Dublin Airport with Air Lingus?

Don't even need to print it, you can scan the boarding card from the app.

Might sounds ovious, but just making sure: you'll also need a passport and at least an hour :)
