First time poster in this forum so please take it easy on me.
We have a Phonewatch alarm system and about 2 or 3 years ago we went unmonitored and got confirmation to say we could use it as a fully functioning alarm system albeit not being monitored.
This week I was logged out of the Phonewatch app on my iPhone and my credentials wouldn't let me log in.
I rang them and they said I had been disabled/removed from their system because of GDPR and I would have to sign up again in order to become "enabled"
Does this sound right?

It must of been an oversight you got left with the app working as when you cancel the app stops working but you should be able to use the alarm using the keypad.
The alarm itself gives no information without the app.
