Social Class

Your class is not your income or your worth its your values and your attitude.

I'm proudly working middle class, I was when I was poor and I am now I'm not as poor.

My children see that I work and I do DIY, I saw my parents work and do DIY.

Ny father was an electrican my mother a typist, I went to school and then third level and theb I got a job and then a career.

If anyone looks down on me and my happy life with my wife and kids that is their problem.

I vaguely recall Warren Buffet saying something along the lines of him not living that much better than average income people. That apart from modes of transport there's little difference in his lifestyle from an average Joe.

In this day and age what do the rich have that average earners dont. A private flight, ok. A pool? what else? A bigger house, a bigger tv a bigger engine. OK, ... care.

I have access to goods and services, I only need the one house. I can travel the globe in comfort, have a huge choice of goods dropped to my door, including food and drink. Amazing entertainment on demand, heat and light to my preference, communication at the touch of a button, you name it.

And Im no billionaire. Can I go to space, or shoot around in a lambo ... no. But so what. Practically all needs are met. So if someone pulls the snooty act on me its irrelevant. What are they going to brag about? That they went to Monaco while I only went to Majorca. That they have a heated steering wheel? Well Jesus.

Yep, it means that you're lower class. Oh well, guess you'll just have to live with the shame.

And don't go getting any ideas of revolting against us property owners.
