The draw to find out Ireland's opponents in their play-off next month takes place shortly. The RTE News channel starts coverage from noon. UEFA.com also showing it.

Ideally, we'll land a home draw.

Scotland vs Austria

Wales vs Bosnia-Herzegovina

Portugal vs Belgium

Round 2 ties:

Portugal/Belgium vs Iceland

Scotland/Austria vs Ireland

Switzerland vs Wales/Bosnia-Herzegovina

Looks like we will have a trip to Austria. That's a very tough draw. Would have been great if we'd managed to get Switzerland's opponents.

Since losing 2-0 to Germany at the Euros, they have played twice. They lost 2-0 to England before tonking North Macedonia 10-0.

For their next games I can only see one goal being scored in the matches. Let's hope its by us.

It's going to be Scotland vs Ireland next Tuesday in the play-off after the Scots beat Austria 1-0 in extra time.

Going to be some occasion next week. Not sure if it's better or worse to be playing them. The two sides should know each other pretty well from the WSL.
