    Have 2 FTs but not sure what to do. Reece James becoming a bit of a headache, no returns from Diaz either but have only had him two games.

    Have 2FTs and 1.6m itb. Thinking of doing Jesus and Archer to Toney and Mitro.

    Another option is TAA and Archer to a defender (no idea who though) and Mitro.

    Only the one FT for me this week, but I think I'll hold - happy enough with my team's fixtures for next week. Then will use the two to switch up a couple of positions for GW8. Assuming nobody's injured of course.

    Switched Mendy to Pope and have anther FT

    Looking to get a Brighton mid in for Kulu (who has been a disappointment tbh)

    McAllister, Gros or Trossard?

    McAllister being on frees as well as penos today is swinging me his way but Gros/Trossard maybe the more reliable returner?

    Giving Salah Wolves and if he is average again and doesn't do much think it's time to move him on. Can't really move Trent he's always capable of points. Martinelli and Jesus were unlucky today but Mitrovic might have to come in soon! Whether it's for Jesus or Toney I dunno.

    Gonna keep an eye on Europe during the week until I do anything nothing is jumping out at me just yet.

    Don't know whether to bring in McAllister for JWP or Gibbs-White. Happy enough that the latter is a bit of a differential, and while JWP is a dead-ball specialist, McAllister seems to be as well. Siding towards JWP out as it stands.

    I love how the dust hardly settles on a GW and we’re already reacting with fervour for 6 days in the future.

    Truth be told I have next week’s team arranged (barring transfers) by midday on a Saturday :-)

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,705 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

    Bit harsh on James - he has returned 7,7,1,7,1 in the games he’s played. Just think what his returns might be if they start keeping CS - he’s the cheapest of the attacking full back trio - TAA and Cancelo being the others.

    jesus ownership has me a little worried about selling - he’s in a team creating chances who have been okish fixtures but he is taking up a valuable spot.

    Rashford Shawnee promise today but seemed to have a niggle when he went off - decisions decisions

    Have 2 FTs.

    Tempted by Kulu --> Rashford. I had him for the first two GWs before selling. Then he starts hauling of course.

    Did Ramsdale to Henderson last week which turned out to be of no benefit. I benched Nico Williams as I didn't want 2 Forest Defence. So, considering undoing the Henderson purchase but not sure who to go for there. Sanchez? Back to Ramsdale? Or even Raya? Ward is my sub goalie.

    McAllister has 3 penalties out of his 4 goals and no assists. That sort of run doesn't hold up IMO

    Who do People want me to break this week ?

    Gw6 :: martinelli and Andrea

    Gw5 :: saliba and sanchez

    Gw4 :: Rodrigo

    Gw 3 :: dasilva

    Cucurella and zaha out Zinchenko and Antony in

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,727 ✭✭✭darego

    can't decide between Gros or Trossard. Any advice?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,662 ✭✭✭dr.kenneth noisewater

    2FT so looking at getting Rashford in for Eze (hasnt worked out) and then Walker to Patterson as have Cancelo already and they're conceding too many. Will allow me to move to 3-4-3 instead of 433 as defence isnt working. Could also move on TAA but will give him another couple weeks

    I see Burn only played 11 mins at the weekend. Howe swapped out both centre backs from the game vs Liverpool for the Palace game.

    I have Dan Burn, and benched Guehi (6pts) just to make it worse. Wondering if I should shift Burn on.

    Edit - dropped or not, Burn to Daglot looks a decent move.

    Kulu to Rashford done. Shouldn’t have sold Rashford after GW2.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,455 ✭✭✭caviardreams

    Was in the same boat - went for Trossard. Gros seems to be in the form of his life whereas Trossard has more of a track record performing at this rate imo. With only 0.5m between them now due to Gros' price rise, I think it's a coin toss tbh and hard to predict.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,220 ✭✭✭✭Father Hernandez

    Taken from online and prior to the weekend's 5-2 win, Trossard had double the number of shots in the box (10 v 5) & penalty area touches (30 v 17) than Gross.

    I went Gross over Trossard as I couldn't afford him but Trossard seems the better choice. Nice swing at the weekend too, 12 points to 5.

    Just did Williams to Malacia as I had exact money. Risky move before european games but I think he has more CS potential and is only .4 more expensive.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,794 ✭✭✭LostArt

    Yeah I've watched the last couple of Brighton games and if I was picking again I'd go Trossard, I'll swap them in a couple of weeks when I wildcard.

    Transfer this week for me is Greenwood to Mitro, but I'll hold off til after CL just in case someone gets an injury

    Current squad with .3 in the bank and 1 free transfer. I’m thinking of a 1 week transfer of either Kane to Jesus or mitro to isaak to avoid the chance of stalemate between city and spurs wrecking scoring chances this gw with the chance Chelsea could hit form any time too and hammer Fulham. Other option being sell zaha for rashford and play 442 dropping 1 of Kane and mitro. Or just play zaha but don’t fancy palace much against united at the moment. What would ye do.

    Anyone know if Fofana is likely to have any attacking potential, would he be in the box for corners or lurking back at the centre circle? Im avoiding double any defence at the moment but thinking Fofana is so cheap he could be perma 1st sub but also then played alongside James when Chelsea do have a chance of a clean sheet against easier teams

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,304 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    I forgot Son was so expensive, as I'd been considering an elaborate swap of Kulu to Son, have 1.9 ITB but sadly I'm still almost 2.0 short. So it's not happening!

    Feel like he might do something big against City though. He likes playing them, and they may be more leaky than previously. Guess I can save a transfer and blindly apply that logic to Kulusevski and hope he starts...

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,705 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

    Brighton are a little leaky atm for double defense, and Bournemouth now have Solanke back fit and scoring, so if your benching anyone Dunk would be high on list, and maybe just behind Nico - Leeds are very open team especially at home, so would be surprised if they didn't score. Not sure on Odegaard in the short/medium term either - sure he got a few goals recently but with all the fire power in the team he's not the most likely to be on the score sheet, moving him on for Rashford might be good shout. I wouldn't be selling Kane, Zaha or Mitro - your going to lose value if you sell them most likely and might not be able to buy back. Dunno why you would consider benching Kane or Mitro and playing Dunk/Nico - that's just bizzare.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,955 ✭✭✭eggy81

    Cheers. Nice bit of perspective. Very inclined to focus on something that comes into my thinking and forget the bigger picture in the team overall.

    Bad week last week.

    Dust myself off and on we go.

    I have 1 FT, but I think I’ll hang on to it.

    I’m sick of Toneys points last week, but he can’t keep that up…

    .8 in the bank for any glaring omission you see. Planning to WC during the break. Probably going to get rid of Salah, but it’s a frightening move!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,883 ✭✭✭madds

    Swapped Dalot for Zinchenko. Zin might outscore Dalot but I think 4.4 for an automatic choice in United's ever improving defense is not too much of a risk. I also think Dalot's scoring potential has increased with Antony playing ahead of him, both in terms of clean sheets and assists. Antony knows TH's system and seemingly was tireless in tracking back in that system for Ajax. Definitely makes Dalot a more attractive proposition with Elanga removed.

    Tuchel sacked, could make chelsea players attractive depending on who comes in.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,863 ✭✭✭Pogue eile

    Will be very interesting, Fofana at 4.4 could be an absolute steal if they get a manager that can organise a defence, on the other hand if they get a manager that can get the best out of his attackers (Tuchel was terrible at this) then Sterling, Mount, Havertz all become very interesting.

    Very happy I stuck with the plan to keep my wildcard until GW8 as I was very tempted the last two weeks.
