    Older American couple will be visiting Kilkenny looking for recommendations for hotel stay for one night late November. Prefer 4 star close to the castle and walking distance to pubs. Thanks...

    Ormonde hotel, Pembroke hotel, Hibernian hotel, Butler house, Zuni all within a minutes walk of the parade. If it was my parents I’d point them towards Butler house or the Hibernian but all those hotels are very nice. Butler and Zuni are more boutique/guest house but very highly rated.

    All good suggestions, the rivercourt is also very nice and the bar looks out at the castle.
