Arsenal well on top last 20mins

Goal should have stood IMO. Eriksen flicking his leg out, caught completely unaware of the pressure on him. Not the first time this season. In a season where physicality is supposedly allowed to happen, it should have been let go.

    and now Utd score

Arsenal playing great stuff. In total control of the ball for the last 15 minutes and United hit them on the break. 1-0 Antony

Arsenal must be sickened. They've been far the better team and had the better chances, yet they find themselves behind.

Jesus completely dominating Varane. Now that ManU are up, Tierney feels safe to give a FK for all the manhandling

Twice he has been lucky not to get a yellow. First time Tierney didn't even give a free

Extremely enjoyable first half of football.

Odegaard is a good watch. Very tidy on the ball.

    Good half that

Jesus has been class. Absolutely bullying everyone around him

Could watch these two sides play for hours, so much actual football in that first half which is a bit of a rarity these days.

Proper old school match. Arsenal the better team overall but it doesn't mean shite all if you don't convert the chances. Jesus has been very good. Should be a cracking second half.

Good game. Arsenal overplaying it a bit in and around the box.

    Martinez bullied by Jesus

How is that not a Peno? he literally just clattered into Saka after he got his shot away taking both his legs from under him...

Ramsdale's distribution has been really good today

They never give those if they get the shot away. Never. But if a CB clears it and gets the same tackle then frees are normally given. VAR has been a mess this weekend.

Will St. John score from a rebound d'ya think? Wha??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,312 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

Never getting pens for that. I doubt even Greater Manchester's Paul Tierney would give similar down the other end, as much as he'd want to.

Of course, anywhere else on the pitch, it'd be a FK. One of those unwritten rules.

    Nice bit of fortune

    Well deserved equaliser

Malacia is truly awful. Look at his lack of awareness

    Utterly deserved.

A lot was said about him after the Liverpool game but statically he was the worst United player in the pitch & Salah who he marked was the highest rated player on the pitch, Add to that he offers nothing going forward

Two half decent games against Southampton & Leicester so far

Asleep there for the goal miles away from Saka

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,307 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Arsenal fully deserve that goal. They deserve to be ahead really.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭Jarhead_Tendler

only one team in it this half. Deserved equalizer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,307 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

There's been only one team all game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭Jarhead_Tendler

When u see a player sliding in so much to make tackles it normally means they are making up for a mistake

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,027 ✭✭✭Ottoman_1000

Varane and Martinez can't get to grips with Jesus at all...Mad that Pep had very little time for him all those years with City, he's some player.

    Arsenal are a proper team.

Bringing on Ronnie and not  Casemiro was a stage one.
