If you can't drink, sell or give away the wine then rather than throw it out use it in cooking, even if you don't like the taste of straight wine it is transformed in cooking and can make very tasty dishes.
Make meals that use a considerable amount of the wine (e.g a bottle) such as Coq au Vin or Boeuf Bourguignon.
