If he keeps scoring at this rate tonight he could do 9-0 on his own 😃

Haaland is easily going to win the golden boot at this rate . Always in the right place at the right time, what a player

I think everyone knew he was going to score a bucketful of goals. He's the perfect player to play up top in the PL. He has everything, pace, strength and most importantly just the knack of being in the right place at the right time.

City are incredible....can't see anyone beating them again... another COVID season is needed, that's about the only way they can be stopped

It's weird, cause they've actually been quite poor this season so far by their standards - but Haaland's goals mean it doens't even matter.

Another Haaland hatrick, not even half time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,027 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

He has already paid back the 4 point hit I took to swap him for Salah in Ff

Back to back hat tricks. Has it been done before in PL?

City will walk the league if Haaland stays fit, that is the key for them so that they can rest players and just focus on the CL from end of Feb.

Timewasting by Newcastle evident all this half.

Nick Pope had the doctor on to give him a tablet after 2 minutes. What was that for? Surely a headache / anti-sickness tablet would be taken before the game and not left to chance.

Did anyone think he would be? I'm not sure I can remember a player coming in with a more unanimous expectation of smashing in a whole rake of goals 😅

Kehrer having an awful time with WH do far. Gave away a penalty last week and after scoring an OG tonight.

Didn't City win the league that was almost totally behind closed doors?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,136 ✭✭✭DellyBelly

They did but they can win it with or without crowds..they have yo be up there with the greatest premiership teams ever

Trent is costing Liverpool a lot of goals….

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,136 ✭✭✭DellyBelly

He's a poor defender alright...can see why Southgate doesn't pick him... however going forward he's decent enough

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,253 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

On paper that's a very ordinary looking Newcastle team.

The amount of time wasting after creeping into the PL over the last while is awful. Between it and lads faking head injuries it's really taking the enjoyment out of games.

I used to watch three or four PL games at least every weekend but I just couldn't be bothered anymore. Every single game has it now no matter what.

The only way it's going to be stopped is if they introduce a dead ball clock and it's stopped every time the ball is out of play.

Just watching sky sports news and the scores. How do sky persist with Matt Murray on commentary..? Seems a sound lad but not cut out for this. Very monotone, he'd nearly put you asleep listening to his match summary

How was he not just in first day, no brainer?

Anyway feels like overkill to even play Haaland against Forest.

Fabino smashing every ball over - I could watch that all day

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,129 ✭✭✭✭Oranage2

I'd love Howe to start giving Klopp a hug

I didn't know the game was allowed to be let go till Liverpool scored

Liverpool must have paid the ref there. Why was there so much added on? No justification for it.

That’s what you get for time wasting from the 1st minute

Newcastle deserve every bit of that with all their timewasting.

It's always lovely to see a team concede after the added on time, as a result of their own timewasting.

Where's the guy who posts the stats about time wasting after games? So much time wasting in that game tonight.

Weird how they seem to call it right on the allotted minutes for everyone else even if there are subs and whatever but not there.
