The brother has a JohnDeere 6320 with JD loader, with 1600+ hours on clock so want to upgrade.

He only one machine on the farm and it's used for feeding etc. I'm recommending getting a 5tf shear grade and sell the 4ft shear grade.

Keep the JD and buy the likes of a JCB TM220 Vs Kramer 5085T. He have to feed in different out farms so the loader like have to drive about 12km round trip between out sheds

He being told that driving loader shovels on the road will shorten the life span of the machine, Is this true? Both of the below loaders come with 30k or 40k gear boxes.

He is also looking at JD6110M but it's taller than the JD6320 so will not fit into some of the sheds.

With the 12k trip he'd be better of with the tractor, those loaders aren't made for any road work, having said that the Kramer is what I'd go for personally but nothing wrong with that JCB either.

Agri sales buy direct from auctions a lot of the time and have a checkered reputation. They move equipment quickly because there's always a market for good value machines so you just need to be extra careful.

I would go for the Kramer. Lovely machines & very reliable. I think Dermot Clancy has a similar model for sale. Weidemann and Schaffer are two other options.

In saying that if driving that distance you probably better off buying a tractor.
