Hello, really need some advice, bought a laptop 5 days ago at Currys and Currys is selling it now 250 euro cheaper. Can I claim the difference? Million Thanks

Says other retailers, but I'd argue the point.

My guess is that they artificially increased the price for a short while in order to reduce it and shout "sale".

That's the underhand tactics Currys are known for

It's a very common tactic in retail. Raise the price for a short time and then cut it back and shout "SALE!"

The concept of a "SALE!" is completely devalued at this stage.

Currys are the biggest offenders. Read the small print of their adverts when they starts scream "Black Friday sale"

In miniscule print you will see something like this "price charged 28/07/2022 - 28/8/2022"
