Does Joshua still have a rampaging style?

To me he's been very bit gun shy since Ruiz knocked him out and thinks about his shots to much before throwing

AJ never had a rampaging style. It was always methodical, upright, rigid and predictable. Worked quite well against certain opposition.

He has definitely lost some that venom and spite on his offence from what I can see.

Without a shadow of a doubt. He’s probably a better boxer now but not more effective. I think he lost a lot of his heart in the Wlad fight and he hasn’t had the same belief since. All was going rosy with Ruiz and then he got run over and that shattered his confidence when he realised his powers of recovery and ability to take shots is very poor comparative to other areas. Joshua was ok looking as a come forward guy against pure turkeys like Skelton, Love or Cornish then he could box a little and be come forward against an unfit brawler like Whyte. When he’s met something like the real thing he’s been found out. On that evidence Fury would hand him his ass and he’d be a great option for Wilder.

100% agree that's he's not been the same since the Vlad fight, he left something in the ring that night and never got it back.

When fighting a guy like Usyk you need to keep him busy if you do not your in trouble,

Do recall when he fought Bellew , Bellew was up on the cards but absolute nackered because Bellew had NO choice but to throw more shots than he wanted to,

You HAVE to pump out the jab to try keep him out of his rhythm , If not he closes distance on you and lands hard shots & is gone again,

Look at the jabs AJ is throwing there is nothing behind them ,they are not designed to land hard but to keep Usyk honest ,

These are little things that make a huge differences ,

Think about it logically, if you only throw when you are 100% it will land who do you think wins the man with the slower hands & feet or the man with the quicker hands & feet, AJ HAD to throw feints, dummy & set ups ,to disrupt Usyk

If Fury and Usyk do fight let's just hope it doesn't take a silly amount a time. Usyk-AJ was nearly a full year after their first fight.

    I don't see that happing,

Remember 2 weeks ago Fury was trying to fight Del boy , i think that was simply to get a fight in to be sharp ,

I reckon he knew Usyk would win & knows he will need to be sharp & have his timing down hence why he wanted another outing even if its a gimme

I don't think Tyson will fight if its a long time away

I don't see it happening that soon. Next May/June is realistic.

I think it'll be this year

And if its next year Fury will fight in between

Usyk himself will need weeks off to wind down and recuperate. To then start another 8-10 weeks camp….. no, I am not optimistic. I reckon March/April 2023

One thing I recall from the vlad fight was aj appeared out on his feet for a few rounds and managed to somehow recover and go on and win

Not so sure, a normal fight camp is anywhere form 7 to 12 weeks depending on your shape precamp

A 10 week camp would mean he is back in training on the 9th of October for December 17th , Plus having just fought he'd be starting from a good base line ,

That would give him 7 weeks off ,

    Yes, definitely do-able alright.

Just with the current pro climate and promotions and bickering and all the silly red tape that comes with these big fights....

Plus, Usyk might wanna strike while the iron is hot. Maybe he feels since Fury's last fight that Fury has been doing eff all training, and that he is now in fighting shape and with a few weeks off he is ready to jump straight back into camp.

Usyk is a free agent promotional wise ,

The only issue may be getting a venue, Wembley booked up till spring & Cardiff wouldn't allow them make there money back

So its looking like Arab money or States

Fury will prob still have issues getting into the States i'd imagine
