If Worchester goes to the wall I hope their directors are chased.

They seem to be using other companies to strip assets. Pretty much the entire six ways site (valued at 2020 for 16.7 million) has been transferred out of the club.

We know that the carpark went for 50,000 and the training pitches went for 350,000 but what about the stadium and the rest of the site.

Bad to worse

It depends. No one will want to buy a club with a tonne of debt that will have to rent its stadium because the previous owners sold it to themselves for a song.

That depends. If the owners of the company buying the stadium and other assets are the same as the owners of the club and they manage to get someone to take on the debt they will get away with it.

If they don't get someone to take on the debt it's possible they could be chased foe some sort of reckless trading charge and that the assets stripped out could be chased.

I mention above that I really hope the directors are chased.

Corporate enforcement can be rather wishy washy.

Wasps in trouble

Its the goal of the Premiership to expand to 14 teams (currently 13) and the plan was not to relegate anyone to allow for expansion.

Last year no teams in the championship met the minimum criteria to be promoted.

If Wasps or Worchester or both of them are relegated due to insolvency events the Premiership may shrink this season as no championship teams seem to be doing anything to meet the minimum criteria for the Premiership.

World Test championship would seriously diminish RWC.

World Club championship is completely unnecessary and would add extra pressure and travel for players involved.

They should have left the CC as it was and not tinkered with it.

Bath getting tanked by wasps

Some of the premiership sides are awful. Newcastle are fodder. Very very poor. L.I are fairly crap too. I think that it's similar to our league. Some quality and decent sides and some that are muck.

2018. 200 Million split among 13 clubs should have been about 15 million a club but the clubs received 12.5 million each. For some of the struggling teams thats a drop in the water (although it bought them breathing room). For others it has been invested in subsidiary businesses.

Looking at the Wasps accounts for 2019 (the year of the CVC investment) they booked 16.5 million of income (12.5 received from CVC, 4 million from revaluing their shares in Premier Rugby) and even still their profit was only about 3 million.
