No, they're arguing in bad faith. Which is standard for them. You're being suckered in. There is no clique. There are just a lot of people who observe the type of behaviour I highlighted, and agree that it's vile. What newish posters were seen off the thread?

Note that my first few posts were responded to by legend reject as an actual comedy routine. But yet, there's no clique. Everyone is treated the same.

You're accusing people of dishonesty (which is a bit rich when you're siding with the most dishonest of all). I don't really know what you're talking about tbh. The post about some people here having such a signature kicked off what? An observation - big deal. And the way those posters behave is exactly the type of thing I mean (although I'm talking about it across social media) - maybe consider why people have their reasons for being critical of their behaviour?

As for Robbie, he barged into the thread deliberately misinterpreting its meaning and punctuating his post with "Weirdos", but that's OK seemingly.

I see it all the time too. Another thing I have experienced is Some of The Darkness into Light brigade. Example (1) my teenage daughter in secondary school being treated not nice (verging on bullying) excluded, one particular girl in her class no matter what my daughter says or offers to team work it's always scoffed at by this particular girl. She definitely has an issue with my daughter, Then I hear oh mam Chelsea the girl in my class is doing the Darkness into Light this year .... Hypocrisy at its finest.. (2) My nephew treating his dad like shite, no respect for him nephew is 22,.recently told his dad during the course of an argument 'I hope you die... Same nephew couldn't wait to get his covid vaccine to help save lives and again he donates and supports Darkness into Light. Pure Hypocrisy! Seems to be all round and same people are completely oblivious to their Hypocrisy.

If there was a clique others would have noted the same. It was just me who observed one post was comedy gold, and it was, you insulted others while claiming to be morally superior. Then I suggested you take up writing comedies, I genuinely think you'd excel at it.

And if other posters were to suggest that you and others were part of another clique? Or is that a claim that can only be directed at others? After all, you're working rather hard to defend Robbie regardless of his behaviour on the thread.

I believe if people were being straight, they would acknowledge where the trouble started on this thread and not try to blame others.

And based on previous posts, you believe that to be post 5, which is mine. A neutral post, that didn't refer to any poster by name, or any poster on the thread at that time. In fact, it was another poster who had the BeKind signature, and laid out aggressively in their first post to the thread, validating my statement.

Why not blame that poster for their aggressive post?

Anwae.. you're trying to assign blame.. for something. I don't know what the blame is for, or why blame needs to be assigned.. but I guess it's a way to pass attention away from "your clique"?

Anyway, in all honesty, when I wrote that piece I wasn't thinking about those posters. I was thinking very much in a general sense. I don't engage with those posters much, so it's not like they were on my brain.

They simply showed up after, and proved my point. Again. Have you read their posts following mine? The manner of their posts that is, in the context of having the BeKind signature attached? Come on. Surely, you can see the hypocrisy involved?

I really can't be bothered if you're going to keep shifting around without acknowledging how that poster behaved, or the other points I've posted in response to your comments.

But I'll answer. I said "there's quite a few on boards or any online space". It wasn't exclusive to boards. However, I've seen posters have it in their sig at different times over the years. As I said, it was a general statement without thinking about anyone specifically.

I can only think of 1 person who has it in their signature here. It has been pointed out there is 2, but there is certainly not a good number at the minute.

I think the poster behaved in the same way as others, if they felt someone was getting digs in, they retaliated. Defence is normal human behaviour.

Ahh lads, this thread was started to discuss a phenomenon that we’ve all seen is fairly prevalent in society. It wasn’t intended to go the way of posters using it as an opportunity to take digs at each other or anyone else on Boards! There’s plenty of examples of it in wider society without posters turning on each other in all fairness.

Annnd with that I can’t think of any examples off the top of my head… 😖
