My ex-wife is driving one of my cars uninsured. Am I accountable in any way if she is caught?

Tell her to give the car back, or else transfer the ownership over to her. You'll be accountable for any parking or speeding tickets she gets.

OP you need to look carefully at S56. RTA 1961. This deals with insurance.

If your ex-wife is driving your car whilst uninsured that will rebound to you also.

If she had an accident for which she was liable responsibility for that would also come back to you. If she is driving with your consent you are vicariously liable as the vehicle owner.

You would be well and strongly advised to withdraw consent formally or sell the car or take it back.
