Whoy does someone driving a truck have to work a set amount of monitored hours yet one of these doctors opertating on someone doesn't?

Definitely not he is a "contractor" and it all goes through a company...hence he pays very little like a lot of RTE

€3k a year is nothing near covering it.

When work paid for my master's I had to agree to stay with company for two years....or I would have to pay the cost of the course.

So clearly you can do something like he is suggesting. Pretty sensible caller despite Joe being very snippy with him

Hang on, the Health service spend €300k training a doctor but pay these doctors a pittance for up to 8 years and expect them to work 80 hours a week 🤔 it's no wonder they leave in their droves
