How long to get used to new glasses?

How long does it take everybody to get used to their new glasses? I'm used to a bit of disorientation / blurriness / etc but everything's usually fine the next day....this time it's not! If it makes any difference, it's 4 years since my last change (thanks covid!) and I have severe astigmatism. (I won't be able to get back…

How long does it take everybody to get used to their new glasses?

(I won't be able to get back to the optician until at least the end of next week, hence asking here!!!)

Doctor recommend eye test every 2 years. If you have bluriness on and off, might worth to do retina screening.
