Hugely excited for this weeks video which I've barely been able to keep quiet about, this weeks video is of a PRIVATE CAR MUSEUM/COLLECTION in Tipperary.

I'd love if you could share this to any classic car clubs and enthusist groups/boards/whatsapp groups etc etc you are in and email me at the address given in the discription of the video to arrange a visit which is by invitation only. 

The exact location isn't being shared publicly out of respect and protection of the collection. I'd appreciate if you could do the same.

Its great as it's all so accessible and you can get right up and into everything once you're being respectful! Its the kind of garage I dream about having.

Tipp County Council won't allow it due to planning regulations. Not sure after that.

Navy examples in use around Nenagh, always looked well used and battered but never stopped going.

I'm still learning a lot about this but it seems the Rover was the better choice based on views.........despite me liking the Camry a lot the views speak for themselves, nobody is interested in clicking on a video about an old Camry. Pity really. It's the very same with my C180 and to a lesser extent my Megane, very few clicks through to watch videos on them. I could go all click baity about them but it's not me. I should add the Camry wasn't bought for YouTube but it was a good way to use it, it's instead gone to fund a different project.

I do have an MR2 project that I'm keeping quiet about as I'm gathering parts but that will end up with someone else to do as I have no tools to work on it and the garage I have is too dark to film in if I was to go about it. Caught each way!

As for the Camry being safe if I remember correctly the Avensis was the same, it got a 4 star score too. I crashed 2 and walked away ok so I can attest to their build quality!

This week I take a look at an UNDERSTATED* 29 foot PINK Lincoln Town Car to help the owner find someone will to weld his long sills. Message me at the email address in the description if you can help the owner out and don't forget to subscribe!

This week on John's Garage I take a look around a NATO Spec ex-British Army LandRover Ninety and it's Penman trailer. 68-KF-57 was the original reg plate on this vehicle and it has 15 years of classified service history. I know the owner would love to get an insight into what that may have been! If anyone is on any military pages I'd appreciate a reshare to them! Enjoy!

First up, thank you to a great guy drove all the way from Wickla to have his car filmed which will feature in a couple of weeks and I don't mind saying it's probably the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel of a car but also to EVERYONE who has CLICKED the link and watched a review, we've just passed the 100k views mark!

The thing is though would anyone have gone to the lengths of solving the ecu issues, probably not.

New project up tomorrow, I got sight unseen, arranged for it to go directly in for an NCT but you'll need to watch to see what happened.

I'd love to take on a more difficult project, but I'm enjoying rescuing cars which would probably otherwise be scrapped

There must be thousands of similar cars out there that could be given new life again. I always think its sad seeing good cars just abandoned then scrapped.

Tonight on John's Garage I take a look around and drive of a 1990 Volvo 240 GL Saloon, theres so much to talk about with this car so the video is a little longer than usual but hope you enjoy it all the same. Video will be up around 7pm.

It's Christmas week so I had to get a colourful car out for this week, I'll try get one more out before the big day.

This week it's the turn of a views Vauxhall VX220 Turbo, try to figure out if I like this over looked sports car.
