Hi, I was checking the tax I pay, and realized that the tax I pay will be less when married. I'm Non-EEA/EU (Stamp 4) and not married yet. If I were to marry do I have to have my spouse with me in Ireland to have the tax amount reduced, or do I have to submit a marriage certificate for this (if my spouse is outside…

Hi,
I was checking the tax I pay, and realized that the tax I pay will be less when married. I'm Non-EEA/EU (Stamp 4) and not married yet.

The below link explains it. But basically you are taxed as single of your spouse is non resident. You may be entitled to some relief via a claim for aggregation relief.
