Ah accidents like that can happen? I am sure that Sabina or Michael D don't manage the website and the "letter" document got mixed up with other documents that were to be published. Simple as that.

I don't see the reason for the big hoha about it though.

If you wrote such a letter and it was published, we would just ignore it. But you didn't write it, it came from the pen of a person who routinely meets & greets people and dignitaries on our behalf. It did not and does not represent the views of many of the Irish people. That is clear from many citizens who have raised objections to it - online, in print and on this show and other radio programmes.

I feel the same way every time a politician opens their mouth, they maybe in government, I didn't vote them in and they certainly aren't representing me, but I'm not on national radio pissing and moaning about it, nor do I think for a split second, the world thinks that's how I as an Irish citizen think!!
