Dublin Airport - Public Transport -lack of train station

I find it incredible that Dublin airport does not have a train station hub, DART or a Luas line. How is this still the case ?

Wasn't there a plan to ensure that this would be no longer the case?

What are everyone's thoughts on this ?

Yes, I'd seen some of the press about this. But do we really think this will come to pass. When T2 was being discussed and planned, never mind about construction.

The Irish Establishment (politics, mass media, tycoons and bureaucrats) - who never use public transport themselves - have and always will maintain that 'buses are enough', and secondly, if a rail link is even remotely suggested for Dublin airport, then Knock claims the children of the Whest are gnawing on a crust of bread trying to stay alive because the Jackeens get everything.

The Irish Establishment are for the most part halfwits and uncultured types and our infrastructure reflects this.
