Clearly a very small few, not even half a handful of folks need reminding of what has also been discussed numerous times. The attached map the most recent but infact has not changed much for nearly three months.

The yellow bit (slightly over 80%) no military action, not a battle field but very occasional missile attacks in a number of cities) much of this area , especially to the west of Ukraine has not so much has had a fire cracker go off since march.

The purple bits , where essentially already under Russian control pre war.

The Red bits will likely be under Russian control and we're most of the fighting is taking place.

Putin the Pig, will focus his attention on the Red bits.

Obviously the likes of the CIA and US State Department don't have access to your sources. You should shoot them off an email. Maybe even include a link to whatever Facebuke or twitter rant you get your info from so that they confirm. The eejits are there panicking everyone and telling their own citizens to leave Ukraine if there, and not to enter if outside it.

Mad that you have better information from them, and you just there living in a barck arse of nowhere.

Today's headline in the New York Times sums up for me the daftness of what Ireland is doing, taking in and subsidising tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees while most of their own country is perfectly safe. Tell us the one again about the Ukrainian elites with the fancy cars who want to give up their previous jet-setting lifestyles for an eternity of dole in Ireland. That's my favourite one so far.

Interesting and sadly horrific story on the BBC news website and app about another extremely vunerable and neglected cohort in Ukraine who don't get to flee, not a priority by Ukrainian officials, it would seem and for decades. Slightly off topic so won't link to it but horrific and a story Zelenskyy will not wanted to have hogging headlines.

Amongst many things pertinent to this Thread (Ukrainian Refugees) , I also worry like you and many others about the cost of living crisis and its shocking and yes I too worry about increasing bills , my comment was strictly directed at an absurd post I was responding to , thread related , had I gone further and discussed the challenges , you, I and others face , it would have been jumped on , ridiculed, sneered at and fed those who've not a clue how this farce, goes way beyond the crisis in Ukraine and has effected the Daily lives of everyone. There was no attempt to ignore the Daily challenges we all face, I was avoiding feeding a disgraceful narrative being peddled .

The issues you raise have been raised many , many times in the thread , including many from me
