Audio only digisender equivalent

Are there any (cheaper & legal) digisender equivalents that broadcast audio only?

Am interested in changing channels and transferring audio, BBC4 FM etc, from my FTA box to bedroom hifi unit. Stereo sound isn't a priority if anybody has any (wire-free) suggestions.

I think there are licensing issues with such devices. Funnily enough, you have to transmit the video as well for it to be legal.

What about those cordless headphone and speaker systems on 864 MHz ?

    Different frequencies, different rules...

One could get a radio mic or set of cordless headphones Plug the tx unit into the digibox the RF into the hifi (may require a bit of soldering and butchering the units though)

A far more elegant (albeit a bit naughty) solution would be to purchace a 50mW FM transmitter from somewhere like NRG Kitz Veronica or PCS. Provided you dont transmit on someone elses frequency I dont think anyone is going to get nit-picky about legalities with such a low power level
