Google Pay/PTSB question

Every time I tap with my PTSB card I get 10¢ credit. This usually covers my bank charges every month. It's not a lot but it's the principal of it all. If I link my card to Google Pay and use my phone to tap for items, does PTSB still count that the same as tapping with my physical card does anyone here know 🤔

Speaking of PTSB, anyone have random Google pay transactions declined whbr you are tapping a phone or watch. It asks you to insert the card and PIN.
Never happens with Revolut.
