Flea bites on humans?

Has anyone ever had flea bites? I'm away on holidays at the moment, staying at a family members house, I'm sleeping on their floor, they've no pets , and I seem to be bitten all the time. I thought at first mosquitos, but i dont hear any, now I'm thinking maybe fleas??? The family I'm with would be horrified at the thoughts of having fleas in their house, so I'm playing the line of "mosquitoes" to them, but I'm really doubtful. I will try to upload pics of the bites. My own family are with me and none of them are being bitten, even though one of the kids is right beside me on the floor.

They don't look like flea bites to me. In my experience a flea tends to stick to one area and have a few attempts close together, often in a clear line. The bites are raised but not blistered.

It can often happen that one person attracts biters and another person doesn't. One half of my family is constantly swatting and scratching and applying ointment while the other half gets off scot free.

I react like that to mozzie bites, the red circle with a blister at the centre.

Generally if it's fleas the bites tend to be around feet and ankles.

That's a bit of relief, thank you. I currently have a circle of new bites on my upper arm, about 6 bites, almost looks like a human sank their teeth into me. And 3 new ones on my thigh!

The feet, ankles and legs have got it, as have my arms, thighs, back of neck. First one was on my face. I actually thought myself at first it was mosquito bites , but I'm not hearing the horrible buzzing sound, and have bought a plug in mosquito repellant and some natural cream , made with essential oils, but I'm still being bitten.

Look similar to mite bites and or spider bites.

Carpet mite if you're the only one affected you could be allergic to them
