Windscreen cracking in same spot

Hi,
Recently bought a 152 Ford Mondeo from a main dealer. After about 2 weeks of driving I noticed a big crack that started at the bottom of the windscreen and moved over towards the drivers side. I had the windscreen replaced 3 weeks ago and today I have a crack in almost the same place. So two cracks in pretty much the same place in approximately 5 weeks. Any ideas what might cause this or is it just a case of really bad luck ?

Any sign of damage like a chip? Could be a case that something around that part of windscreen is putting it under stress

No chip. Just a long crack that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Cheers for your help.

Maybe you have enemies you don't know about. Cyclists, motorists, pedestrians, neigbours are known to keep a grudge.

Ya, maybe but they would be very accurate enemies. Crack is pretty much in the exact same spot as the first one
