Has anyone managed to get a refund of this fee?
I realise it's in their terms

I did. I paid deposit and technology fee and after doing some digging contacted them a week prior to the auction to say I wouldn’t be proceeding with bidding. I got a full refund including the technology fee but not until after the auction had taken place.
