Good point by Paudie. Turn over by the Kerry defenders being crucial.

    Brilliant defending there by Kerry.

Crucial score up the other end.

Poor turn over by Kilkenny and Kerry get a score...Small turned over now...

That wasn't a foul or a yellow card.

    Laughable yellow card

These commentators are so annoying. They always agree with the referee’s decision. No minds of their own.

I really can't see how that was a yellow.

The only way to get in behind that Kerry defence is to turn them over in attack. It looked like they had 15 back for that last Dublin attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,704 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

That Dublin challenge that stopped the Kerry attack was no different than a minute earlier when a Kerry player got a yellow card.

That Dublin goal keeper is an annoying little weasel.

Another good turnover by the Kerry defence.

Institutional dinosaurs that badly need replacing. It's rife in RTE sporting commentary and punditry.

Should have been a black card for Spillane. Deliberately stopping an attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,181 ✭✭✭MFPM

Why are Dublin persisting with this crap of holding the ball, getting isolated and turned over...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,380 ✭✭✭STB.

You are incorrect. Dont think your Mod tag gives you any weight when you are called out on it.

Your whole understanding of the rules of the game is summarised in your "the ball is there to be played" nonsense.

Paddy Neilan bottled it. No doubt by the Connor Lane likewise ability to make a decision. Referees get it wrong constantly regardless of what they deem. That does not take away from clear rules of the game.

I'd suggest you stick to small ball commentary.

Dont need glasses to recognise clearly dangerous play. Perhaps you do? Laughable that you are trying to excuse dangerous pay that was clearly a red card.

They need to make the pitch smaller for football games.

David Clifford gets most of the plaudits, but his brother is a proper work horse. winning dirty ball, feeding the front line, slowing things down.

Kerry doing a Dublin on Dublin here...holding possession

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,704 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Ironic to hear the Dublin supporters booing Kerry keeping possession.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators, Paid Member Posts: 37,222 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

If the ball was in the keepers hands - it would not have been there to be kicked - but it wasn't, therefore he was perfectly entitled to draw a kick on the ball.

Ref, umpires and linesmen all agreed - but you know better......

I'll continue to comment on here, if that's okay with you.

I'd suggest you get back to commenting on the game.

Win or lose today, the Dublin team of recent years sure are the greatest gaelic football team of all time in my opinion.

I don't know about that Dublin point, but there's no Hawkeye.

Jesus Christ McCarthy that is sensational.

I have no issue with that at all, never understand why fans boo Dublin for it, it’s up to the other team to win It back.
