PCR test respite nursing home

    Some info please, 93 year old going to nursing home respite for a week, nursing home wants him to have a PCR test , GP doesn't do it,. HSE Test center doesn't do it, it's only for over 55,s immune comprised etc, any advice? Ps. Can't find category for the subject.

    Ask the nursing home where they suggest you get it done. This will be something they deal with a lot. They should be able to advise. I know some pharmacies were carrying them out for travel reasons.

    Nursing home have said get it done by your GP.
