Best website for Gite hire?

Basically what it says on the tin, can anyone recommend a good website for hiring a gite in France, one they've used before maybe? Have checked out Airbnb but nothing there suits. Any advice ?

Hi there:

I've used https://www.gites-de-france.com/en in the past. I find it much better value that airbnb, plus no hefty "service fee". Like airbnb, you can create favourites lists, search by map etc.

Another recommendation for Gites de France. I go every year and they are the only company I will use. Very reasonable, huge selection and very good customer service.

Only seeing this now as we were actually in France 😂 but were lucky enough to stay with friends, going back again in August so this info is great thanks.

Another vote for Gites de France. Great selection on their website. Have used it several times and never had a bad experience.
