Anyone know if there is an aqua park in and around Dubrovnik? I see Aquapark Cavtat is mentioned on TripAdvisor but the last review was back in 2016.

It's not an Aqua Park as you know it either, just some bouncy castle type things in the water.

There's a pretty big water park in Budva, in Montenegro about 2hrs south of Dubrovnik. Its only about 30mins past Kotor, if you are going there for a day or overnight trip. Budva is alright for a visit as well, the old town is nice, but it is more spanish resort-y than Dubrovnik and Kotor. Full of russians as well, or used to be at least.

Note, that is in Bosnia - there are (or were) restrictions around bringing rental cars over that border - cant remember exactly if it was outright disallowed or additional expensive insurance was required. There was no such requirement for Montenegro, so I just took the car to Kotor/Budva. Wouldn't have minded a jaunt into Bosnia but was not to be.

EDIT: I see you have another thread on that

No issues going over the border into Bosnia. All we needed were passports.

The waterpark in Trebinje was brilliant. Seriously fast slides. well worth a visit and only cost €8 per person for the whole day which was great value for money I thought.
