    Hey,

Just wanted to check others experience on how long it should take to get your cert after the survey is done.

Seeing some sites saying anything between 24 hours to 3 days but obviously if it busty that may be a bit longer.

Had my survey done, expected it in a few days, checked in with them and was then told 2 weeks minimum.

That was 2 weeks ago and now being told it will be another

I know nothing of how the certs are created and the guys doing them must be up to eyes in work but a month seems extreme.

the code of practise for BER assessors only allow 10 days between survey and publication of the certificate.

however there certainly are situation in which that 10 day time period is unrealistic, particularly on a Final BER on a New Build. This is mainly due to the requirement to chase up a myriad of documentation (window / door certs and letters of supply, HP sign off, TB sgn off, specification sign off etc)

if your assessor doesn't have to chase up documentation though, then a moths is completely taking the pi$$
