Assistance please - what makes and models of mid size cars have remote control closing boots?

Hi, looking for some help in finding out what car makes and models in mid range size - saloon or mid suv ranges come with remote control opening and closing boots, for someone who can no longer reach most boot heights to close boot unassisted. Looking for cars in price range 20k to 30k, from 2017 onwards. Thanks in advance, Dee

Well it's an option on most SUV type vehicles so if you searched higher spec versions of those, you should find a fair few with the electric open / close.

Or you could save yourself a ball of money & attach a strap to the inside of the boot door.

Against that. the switch is usually at the same height as the open door.

Most if not all cars with this can be closed by holding the button on the key

I would definitely not limit my search options to only cars with this feature. Buy a car you like and get the feature retrofitted

Even if you couldn't use key to operate the boot, there is a hell of a difference between being able to hit a button with your finger and being able to get hold of the boot and close it.

Some models of Toyota Rav4 have this feature.

They come in a Hybrid. The automatic gears can be handy for someone with mobility issues.

Should get a 2017 in budget.

True,but if you read the OP the issue was couldn't reach it,not couldn't close it.

If you read the op correctly, the issue is that they can no longer reach to close the boot unassisted. This doesn't mean they cannot get a finger on the lower edge of the boot when open.
