new address - new license?

hi all,

moved house and i need to change the address i have on my licence / tax etc

can this be done online easily or do i need to physically go somewhere to do it

So I need a gov id card to do this? Not as easy as they say as I have never had a need for such a card

Then make an appointment for your NDLS office to update it. It's written there in blue and white under the Apply Online button

Updating ownership address on the car can be done by adding new address to logbook and sending to Shannon. Important this is done for fines or if you need a replacement in the future they will use that address.

When I moved house in 2014 I changed the address on my licence which involved visiting an NDLS centre and updating the details. (no MyGov ID).

It was a benefit for me as it switched me from a paper licence to the new card stye one (could have kept the old address as it's my mothers address). It was also free of charge to do this in 2014.
