Siemens chimney tale

I remember a fella telling me this yarn years ago.

Siemens used to have offices in Cork. Not sure exactly where but it was building with a chimney on it somewhere not easily visible but nonetheless this building had a chimney and Siemens rented this building for years and nobody took any notice. Siemens have some official policy from back home stating they're not allowed to be in any buildings with chimneys because of the war and the whole burning dead jews thing. As soon as they copped it they quickly moved to another building

Any truth to this or urban legend as I suspect it is?
