Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone on here uses FX Units when playing a vinyl-only set... and if so which ones, what model?

    Thanks!

Great question. Depending on what mixer you have you get get external FX units and use the Send/Return method. This means you can select what channel(s) have the effects applied to them.

I've got a Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus which supports this. I'm thinking of getting a Kaoss Pad 3+ to mess about with. (about $400 CAD)

If you don't have the send/return function you've 2 options.

    1. Use one FX per channel, so buy two, or
    2. Just use one and have it after your mixer, so it will effect all the channels at once.

    Hope this helps. Good luck
