Changing from Nissan X Trail to BMW 5 series hybrid

Hi,

We have a 7 seater 2016 Nissan X Trail, virtually never use the seats in the boot. Thinking of changing it for a 5 series plug in hybrid BMW 5 series, automatic.

Which model would people advise please & anything to look out for? Main use will be commuting (20km journey) & family trips so don't need sporty etc, looking more at economic.

With that price range your looking at the first gen smaller battery 530e.

If you don’t care about looks, then you can go for the basic SE version instead of the MSport.

You should get the full 20km on electric this time of year. It that will drop during winter months.

We have a 172 version and my parents love it. They’ve only filled the petrol tank twice in the 2 years they’ve owned it!
