French butter?

Hey,

Does anyone know of a place in Dublin where you can get French (unsalted) butter?

I'm making a cake that requires butter with as high a butter fat content as possible - the better Irish stuff tends to be 82%+, but I'm told French butter tends to be 84%.

Was thinking it would be worth getting the extra bit in there, assuming it's relatively easy to source... though so far I've not managed to find any.

If you want as high a butter fat content as possible, you could always use ghee, that's 100% butter fat 😁

I've gotten unusual butters in M&S before (the Cornish one was delightfully funky), but not sure about specifically French.

Glenstal unsalted seems to be 82% if you get stuck (I buy their salted usually and it's lovely).

Nolan’s in Clontarf usually stock French butter.

Yes the Glenstal stuff is great. From what I can see the regular Kerrygold etc. is at least 82% too - which is probably fine for what I need. But was thinking I'd see if I could get something higher just in case.
