LC Home Ec Q? - what says the syllabus? anyone with kids doing LC Home Ec???

    I remember similar being on the syllabus when I sat mine many moons ago.

    It's part of the dressmaking textile element of the course.

    I definitely remember horizontal and vertical stripes being referred to.

    Then what styles suit different body shapes etc.

    Honestly I think this is people looking for stuff to get offended by.

    You can be as body positive as you want but the fact remains certain styles look better on certain body types. Certain colours will make you look bigger/smaller, certain colours are better suited to certain skin tones. If you want to go into fashion/dressmaking etc you need to learn the basic rules.

    @Princess Calla got ya - but I think that the word "flattering" was wrong? what you think? maybe if they hadda said "influence" instead?

    would still love to know what the "right" answer is.. ummm
