Wtd: SRAM 9 speed rear derailleur, twist shifters, V brake levers

Hi guys,

Looking for a cheap sram 9 speed rear mech to work with a set of 9 speed x5 twist shifters. Also a pair of V brake levers. Have a pair of old LX ones that are a bit ropey but probably still servicable at a push. Planning on replacing a set of xtr shifter/brake combo units on my going to work bike.

Also, if anyone has other sram 9 speed twist shifters knocking around happy to pick them up as spares.

As a matter of interest, what are the xtr shifters? I'm looking for a set for my vintage MTB.

We have a blast of NOS SRAM components tucked away in a dusty corner of the bike shop I work in.

Mainly 8/9 speed from memory, from the days when SRAM had their factory in Carrick on Suir.

I can have a root through it on Tuesday when I'm back in work, if you like?

Awesome, yes please. I have two 9 speed bikes in the house, one currently decked out in sram x0 and it's turbo deadly. The second one has xtr brake shifter combo units which are nice but are starting to miss the odd shift so making sure i have a stock of 9 speed bits when this goes belly up. Have a set of twist shifters, but a spare wouldn't go amiss. equally a rear derailleur or two would be great. Let me know what you unearth. Thanks a mill.

They are 9 speed brake and shifter combo units. you move the break lever up and down to shift. They miss the odd shift every so often at this stage though.
