    Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

On a joint account both parties have to be 66 or older to upgrade to a Golden Years account where the monthly 6 euro fee will not apply.

Please see attached here for more information on the Golden Years account.

    Thanks,

    Declan

Is there an amount of money you can maintain in your account to avoid €6 monthly fee?

    Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

We have a simple way of charging for our Personal Current Account. All personal current account holders will be charged the €6 maintenance fee regardless of the balance in their account.

    Thanks, Megan
