So todays stage is / isn't made for MVDP and the GC riders will/ won't try something. GCN have all the bases covered.

But more importantly- where the hell did Blythe get those trousers? Did he get dressedin the dark in a TK Maxx?

Ah good to see Tee Jay there, I'd forgotten he'd become a DS with EF. Also Hannah is much easier to listen to vs Wiggo.

This looks like it'll be more like a spring classic.

Seems the perfect day for a mafia quote

"Mai temere Roma, il serpente se ne sta attorcigliato a Napoli.

The lads making damn sure we know it's not their call to show the e-Giro :)

    This is marvellous racing...!

Surely a prelude to a World Championship in the future, exciting circuit very like Leuven last year.

Looking at Schmid, he's looking good there on MvdP wheel; if he were to win, will he make a comment about Cav being missing in the final!

Great racing here. Will MvdP make it back across?

    de Gendt is some beast

28 seconds now. Can't see them bridging that gap

I think the front group have it. The gap is growing

    Oh no it isn't!

    ... oh yes it is.. . ?

Touch and Go for the next 10km...

I'd love to see the Bardiani man do it here much as I love de Gendt.

Easy in the end for de Gendt. Hats off to him. Great ride but sickener for MvdP and Girmay. So near yet so far.

Wow Cherie Pridham looks wrecked after that 😂

Her first stage win in a GT as a DS?

I got very excited when I saw VdP hit that descent. I thought he would catch them.

You'll rarely get a more deserving winner than De Gendt. A pure war horse, gives it everything day in, day out.

You always get a sense he's a man Sean Kelly has a lot of respect for when he's talking about him.
