Does anyone know if and when the original Star Wars was broadcast on RTE?

I didn’t know if you are still interested in this but I’m pretty sure Episode IV was only on VHS for a long long time.
I do know that I recorded Return of the Jedi from RTÉ one Christmas (most likely a St. Stephen’s Day ) and thinking of this sets of the vague memory that I never had atarbwars because it was never on TV

I think the first proper watch of the original trilogy I saw was on VCD 🙂
