See photo. Is this normal there is a little piece sticking out form the quick release screwer Ive had this bike 10 years plus and it may have always been like that.

that's fine, it's just that the QR skewer is a little longer than it absolutely needs to be, nothing to worry about.

Yes - normal enough. Two of my bikes are like that.
BTW - you have way too much lube on that chain!
