UK Endorsement on Irish License - no DVLA record?

I've had a court ordered endorsement(60d + £2.5k fine) on my license for a speeding offence.

As I have a full Irish license, the endorsement details were assigned against a standard format DVLA license number(i.e. ABCDE 123456 F78GH), I can only assume this is a temporary record tracking my UK driving record.

As I'm nearing the end of this ban, I've been in contact with the DVLA using the drivers number issued by the court. They have NIL record of this license using my various details (Driver #, Name, postcode, NI number etc).

Has anybody been in a similar situation with the DVLA?

Where do insurers cross check endorsement details in the event of any future claims?

    Many TIA!
